Motorhome & Caravan Show 2026: What to expect
From 13-18th October 2026, the National Motorhome & Caravan Show will once again transform Birmingham's NEC into the UK's biggest showcase for touring and leisure vehicles. Covering an incredible 85,000 square metres, (roughly the equivalent of 11 Wembley football pitches!), it's the largest event of its kind in the country and one of the highlights of the motorhome calendar.
It's your first opportunity to see the latest 2027 motorhomes, campervans and caravans before they arrive in dealerships. Whether you're actively looking to buy, considering an upgrade or simply enjoy keeping up with the latest developments in the leisure vehicle world, here's what you can expect from this year's show.

Explore more than 1,000 new leisure vehicles
The biggest draw for most visitors is the opportunity to get up close with over 1,000 new leisure vehicles from more than 80 leading manufacturers and brands.
Unlike a dealership, where you may only be able to compare a handful of models, the NEC brings together a huge range of vehicles under one roof. From compact campervans and panel van conversions to luxury A-Class motorhomes and American RVs, there are hundreds of layouts, specifications and styles to explore.
One of the biggest advantages of attending the show is that most vehicles are fully open for visitors. You can step inside, sit in the lounge, check out the kitchen space, test the beds and get a genuine feel for how a particular layout would work for your touring style.
See the latest 2027 models before they reach dealerships
For enthusiasts who enjoy keeping up with the latest trends, the NEC show is often the first chance to view brand-new model launches. Manufacturers use the event to showcase their upcoming 2027 ranges, giving visitors an early look at new layouts, interior designs, technologies and innovations before they become widely available.
Even if you aren't planning to purchase anytime soon, it's a great way to see where the industry is heading and what features are becoming increasingly common across new motorhomes and campervans.
Discover the latest accessories and touring equipment
The show isn't just about vehicles. There will be an abundance of accessories on display, including:
- Awnings
- Outdoor furniture
- BBQs
- Security products
- Wi-Fi systems
- Bike racks
- Paddleboard carriers and accessories
- Kitchen equipment
It's one of the best places to discover new products, find touring essentials and see demonstrations before making a purchase. Even experienced motorhome owners may come away with a few new ideas for improving their existing setup.
Try free driving and towing experiences
If you're new to motorhomes or caravanning, the free driving and towing experiences are well worth a visit.
Motorhome manoeuvring
These free 20-minute taster sessions are an opportunity to build confidence behind the wheel and pick up practical driving and manoeuvring tips from qualified instructors. Whether you're driving a motorhome for the first time or simply want to sharpen your skills, it's a useful hands-on experience.
Caravan towing experience
Supported by official tow car partner Isuzu, these free one-to-one towing sessions are designed for both beginners and experienced caravanners. Visitors can experience what towing feels like in a controlled environment while receiving advice and guidance from experienced instructors.
Campervan manoeuvring
If you've always been curious about campervan ownership, these free sessions offer a chance to get behind the wheel and learn from the Caravan and Motorhome Club's team of instructors. It's a relaxed way to build confidence before committing to a purchase.
Brainstorm your next adventure at the Inspiration Theatre
The Inspiration Theatre is another popular feature of the show.
Throughout the event, special guests, content creators, travel experts and experienced tourers take to the stage to share stories, destination ideas and practical advice. From touring routes and campsite recommendations to vehicle ownership tips, there's plenty of useful information for both new and experienced owners. If you're already planning next year's trips, you may leave with a much longer bucket list than when you arrived.

A few tips before you go
Wear comfortable footwear
This is perhaps the most common piece of advice from previous visitors. With the show covering approximately 85,000 square metres, you'll spend far more time walking than you expect. Comfortable shoes are a must-have!
Take photos and notes
After climbing in and out of dozens of motorhomes, the layouts can quickly start to blur together. Photos, notes and even quick videos can be incredibly useful later when you're trying to remember which van had the perfect washroom, best storage solution or most comfortable lounge.
Allow plenty of time
Many visitors arrive intending to spend just a few hours and end up staying for most of the day. Between the vehicle displays, accessory stands, demonstrations and theatre talks, there's more than enough to fill your schedule.
